During this period, domestic gasket technology research and development and testing were in the exploratory stage. As the Chinese curtain wall industry entered its early stages, the founder officially established the Wingkay Gasket Brand in Hong Kong. In the same year, the company successfully won the bid for one of Asia's largest commercial building complexes: Beijing Oriental Plaza. Taking this large project as an opportunity, the development focus of Wingkay on "high-end sealing gaskets" was established.

The founder was involved in the building component trade industry and established the predecessor company of Wingkay Gasket Brand. The trading business flourished, and at the same time, the founder deeply realized the significant role of high-quality gaskets in construction.
